With the support of the US Department of Defense and other agencies, NanoGraf's team of scientists, technicians and engineers have released a silicon anode battery with an energy density of 800 Wh/L that can provide significant benefits for consumer electronics, electric vehicles, equipment used by soldiers in combat and more.

In addition to commercial applications, NanoGraf's batteries could also significantly improve the performance of military electronics carried by soldiers. US soldiers carry over 20 pounds of lithium-ion batteries on patrol, often the second heaviest piece of equipment after body armour. NanoGraf's batteries could extend the runtime of US soldiers' equipment and reduce the weight of the battery pack by more than 15 percent.
This comes after a period of rapid growth for the company.
