01. Comprehensive energy
Jingdong Group is currently the largest vertically operating e-commerce company in China, with a huge self-built logistics system and a logistics park covering an area of 8 million square meters in 100 major cities in China. On 25 May, Jingdong's Intelligent Industry Development Group signed a cooperation agreement with Goldwind's wholly-owned subsidiary, Tianrun New Energy.
According to the agreement, the two parties will set up a new energy company as a joint venture, focusing on the development, construction, investment and operation of load-side distributed clean energy business. And on this basis, to provide energy saving solutions, integrated energy services, low-carbon green solutions and intelligent energy management services.
02. Photovoltaic

At the beginning of 2017, Jingdong Group reached an agreement with Beijing Clean Energy Holding Group, which will allow Beikong to tailor a set of new energy development and support the development of poverty alleviation business for Jingdong Group's 8 million square meters of unused rooftops, and build 800MW distributed photovoltaic power generation system on the 8 million square meters of rooftops of Jingdong Logistics.
After the project is landed, it is equivalent to Jingdong Group's annual emission reduction of 800,000 tons of carbon dioxide for the society, construction of 300,000 tons of coal consumption and planting of 100 million trees; meanwhile the project accumulates 600 million yuan to donate to poor households in Guizhou Province.
On December 27, 2017, Jingdong and GCL Smart Cloud Warehouse joined forces to build the Jingdong PV Cloud Warehouse in Jurong. on June 7, 2018, the rooftop distributed PV power generation system of Jingdong Shanghai Asia One Smart Logistics Center was officially connected to the grid, which can supply clean energy for the automatic three-dimensional warehouse, intelligent robots and automated sorting system in the cabin.
In 2020, the Jingdong PV power generation system will generate 2.538 million kWh of electricity, which is equivalent to reducing CO2 emissions by about 2,000 tons. Jingdong PV power generation already covers the electricity needs of multiple scenarios of operations in the park including warehouse lighting, automatic sorting, automatic packing and automatic picking. At the same time, Jingdong Group has taken the lead in integrating distributed photovoltaic power stations with resources in the automobile industry, exploring the pilot project of "automobile + carport + charging pile + photovoltaic", creating a new model for the widespread promotion and application of photovoltaic power generation in the logistics field.
In the future, Jingdong will join partners to build the world's largest rooftop photovoltaic power generation capacity ecosystem. At present, the layout and application of PV-based clean energy is being promoted in Jingdong Logistics Asia One and other intelligent logistics parks and intelligent industrial parks, and the total installed capacity of PV power plants is expected to reach 200 MW by the end of 2021, with an annual power generation capacity of more than 160 million degrees.
On May 8, 2021, Jingdong Local Life reached a strategic cooperation agreement with Tesco.
According to the cooperation agreement, the two sides will take the core objective of creating a high-quality and excellent service charging aggregation platform and open up the membership system. The two sides will jointly build an Internet charging service aggregation platform and carry out deep and comprehensive cooperation on building Jingdong brand image charging stations in multiple cities and a common membership system, in order to expand the radiation range and service capacity of the charging network, improve the charging quality and make the majority of new energy vehicle users "no longer panic about charging".
