How to operate dc fast charging station?

Use fast charging operations in special emergencies because fast charging has an impact on the life of the high voltage battery pack . For example: the Rongwei ERX5 (EV400) should not be fast charged more than twice a week!

Under normal temperature condition, if the charging equipment has an output capacity of 60 kW or more. Take Rongwei ERX5 (EV400) as an example, it takes about 40 minutes to charge from the alarm state (instrumentation low battery warning light alarm) to 80% total power (instrumentation power display 6 cells).

The operation process of DC fast charging pile charging is basically the same, taking the operation of National Grid fast charging pile as an example, is introduced as follows.

1. Turn off the ignition switch and wait for 10 seconds.

2. Unlock the whole car, then press the car label to pop up a little, and lift your hand upward to open the charging port cover.

3. Open the fast-charging port cover.

4.Press the button on the charging handle to take the fast charging gun out of the charging post.

5. Press the button on the charging handle and insert the charging gun into the fast charging port.

6. Insert the special charging card of National Grid into the charging post.

7. After inserting the card, click the "Insert Card to Charge" button on the screen and wait for the system to perform a safety check.

8. After the system check is completed, the system will automatically jump to the password input interface, enter the 6-digit password and click the "Confirm" button.

9. The system will display the charging interface after the detection is completed, and the electric card will pop up, please take out the card immediately.

10. When charging is completed, the meter will show the charging capacity as 80%.

11. When we want to end the charging, insert the card back again and click the screen flashing "Insert Card Settlement" button.

12. Click the "Exit" button to remove the card when the charging is completed.

13. Press the button to pull out the charging handle and put it back to its original position.

14. Close the small cover and close the charging port cover.
