The basic knowledge about charger

1. What is the difference between AC and DC charging posts?

Generally speaking, AC belongs to regular charging (or slow charging) and DC belongs to fast charging. AC charging pile provides AC power to the on-board charging pile machine on the electric vehicle, which charges the battery; DC charging pile machine charges the battery directly without going through the on-board charging pile machine. On-board chargers are generally less powerful and are suitable for conventional (slow) charging piles. The AC charging pile uses the national standard seven-core interface, the DC charging pile machine uses the national standard

7kW AC charger

2.Is it troublesome to use? Do you need professional staff to operate them, or do you need training to operate them, or can you read the manual and operate them directly?

It is quite convenient, you can use it after reading the manual.

3.What are the safety hazards when using it?

The equipment itself has undergone various national safety certifications and has various protection measures such as over-voltage, over-current, leakage, lightning protection, rain protection, dust protection, etc. There are no safety hazards during normal use.

4. What are the installation conditions and how to divide the work for installing the charging post by myself?

In addition to having your own fixed parking space, you also need the permission and assistance of the power company and the property company to provide the power wiring location, etc.

5.How far can I run on a single charge?

Generally around 200km, the range varies from model to model and the difference is quite obvious. Because the capacity of each model with the battery is different, Tesla with 85 degrees of electricity, BYD E6 (parameters | pictures) with 57 degrees of electricity, other models are much smaller than them, generally one degree of electricity can drive five kilometres.

6.How long does it take to charge slowly? How long does fast charging take?

Charging time depends on the capacity of the car battery and the maximum charging current allowed. Generally 6-8 hours for a slow charge and 30 minutes for a fast charge to fill 80% of the battery capacity.

7. Can I change my existing model to a hybrid?

No. For one thing, it is technically complex to change. On the one hand, it is more complicated to change the technology, and on the other hand, the relevant regulations of the national motor vehicle management do not allow it.

8.What does IP54 protection level mean?

The IP protection level is made up of two numbers. The first number indicates the level of dustproofing and protection of the appliance from foreign objects, while the second number indicates the degree of sealing of the appliance against moisture and water intrusion.
