Researchers under Lucid adopted a self-developed winding pattern to enable Air models to have greater torque under specific speed conditions and to fully cool the high-heat area of the copper coil. The cooling channel in the copper coil is unique, but the current solution for Air models is to ensure that the temperature of the copper coil is low while avoiding excessive current.

Air models with dual motors use all-wheel drive. For any car, four-wheel drive is an important advantage, but compared with a fuel car with a drive axle, electric cars have fewer disadvantages, because in a fuel car, the power from the engine is transmitted to other axles. Fast Charging

Air models have industry-leading cruising range and ultra-fast charging time. Lucid has developed a battery system with superior performance through cooperation with Samsung, LG, Sony Murata and other related companies. Researchers under Lucid have equipped Air models with an efficient charging method. When the vehicle is running at high speed, the battery becomes very hot, which reduces battery performance.
