1. Read the manual for your new car

2. Know the operation procedure of the ev charging station
Generally speaking, there are operating procedures posted on outdoor public ev charging stations, and it is recommended to follow the instructions strictly. Before charging, owners should check if there are any flammable and explosive items in their car, such as cigarettes, lighters, petrol, alcohol, rechargeables and batteries. In summer, the temperature inside the car can be 50°C to 60°C. These flammable and explosive items are prone to explode in high temperature environments. In addition, car owners should not smoke and discard cigarette butts in the charging area to avoid fire.
5. Turn off the car lights when charging
In general, the lights and low-power electrical equipment in a new energy vehicle are powered by the vehicle's battery. If you leave the lights on for a long time, the battery will easily lose power. This will result in a situation where the power battery is fully charged and the battery is not charged and the car cannot be started. Therefore, always remember to turn off the lights when charging.
6. Don't pull out the charging gun when charging
Sometimes, due to time problems, vehicle owners force the gun to be disconnected before the charging is finished. This will not only seriously affect the life of the vehicle and the charging equipment, but will also create the risk of electric shock and cause considerable damage to the ev charger. Therefore, for your own safety, it is recommended that you do not force the charging gun during the charging process of your car.
7. Don't turn on the air conditioner when charging
In the high temperature areas, many car owners often stay in their cars with the air conditioning on while the car is charging, which is a very unsafe practice. This is because using the air conditioning in the car while charging will increase the internal charge load of the power battery, making the battery pack continue to work when it is not fully charged, while charging and discharging will reduce the battery's service life and may also increase the probability of spontaneous combustion. Therefore, it is recommended to choose an ev car charger with a lounge as far as possible, where you can rest and wait while the car is charging.
