What is EV Charging Station?
An EV charging station, also called electric vehicle charging station, electric recharging point, charging point, electronic charging station (ECS), and electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE), is a machine that supplies electric energy for the recharging of plug-in electric vehicles—including electric cars, neighborhood electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids.

1. Charging method of EV charger

2. Charging principle
1) The price of electricity for large-scale industries shall be implemented for the operation of centralized charging and swapping facilities that directly report to the power grid operating enterprises for the installation and connection of electricity. However, before 2020, basic electricity charges will be temporarily waived. From then on, each kilowatt-hour of electricity will be charged at 0.457 yuan at night and about 0.9 yuan during the day.
2) Electricity for charging facilities installed in residential homes, residential communities, and non-resident users who implement residential electricity prices shall implement residential user electricity prices. The electricity fee is 0.558 yuan per kilowatt-hour, and there is no stepped electricity price, and the peak and valley electricity are not divided temporarily.
3) The charging facilities installed in party and government agencies, enterprises, institutions, and public parking lots are subject to "general industrial, commercial and other" electricity prices. Basically, the charge for each kilowatt-hour of electricity is less than 0.6 yuan, and the peak-to-valley electricity price is implemented.
4) The charging service fee is charged according to the charging power. The upper limit of the charge per kilowatt-hour is 15% of the retail price of 92 gasoline in the current Japanese city. Each business unit may formulate specific charging standards in accordance with the standard not exceeding the upper limit.
5) Each charging facility operating unit shall strictly implement the regulations on clearly marked prices, and mark relevant service items, service contents, charging standards and other matters in a conspicuous position of the business premises. For price violations such as unauthorized increase of charging standards, all price enforcement agencies will follow.
3. How to charge a car according to the power section more reasonable?
1) The car charging power is 150-220W, the basic consumption is 0.15-0.2 yuan/hour, and the merchant charges about 0.5 yuan/hour, which is understandable.
2) The car charging power is 240W, the basic consumption is 0.14 yuan/hour, and the merchant charges 0.2-0.5 yuan, which is understandable.
3) The charging power of the car is 280W (the average electric car will not exceed 280W), the basic consumption is 0.17 yuan/hour, and the merchant charges 0.3-0.6 yuan/hour, which is more reasonable.
4) The charging power of the car is 220-350W (the electric car is basically this wattage), the basic consumption is 0.2-0.35 yuan/hour, and the merchant charges no more than 0.7 yuan/hour, which is understandable.
5) The car charging power is 350-500W, the basic consumption is about 0.2-0.3 yuan/hour, and the merchant charges 0.5-0.8 yuan, which is understandable.
6) The car charging power is 500-700W, the basic consumption is 0.3-0.5 yuan/hour, and the merchant charges 0.8-1.2 yuan, which is understandable.
