On April 20, the first batch of public electric vehicle charging station "intelligent gear pole" equipment put into operation in Zhoushan, Zhejiang Province.
The equipment is equipped with intelligent car gate, license plate recognition camera, sound column and other devices. When a new energy vehicle drives in, the camera will automatically identify the green license plate of the new energy vehicle and lift the parking pole. For non-renewable energy vehicles, the recognition system will issue a "Do not drive in for non-renewable energy vehicles" tone.
This is the parking space intelligent management equipment introduced by State Grid Zhoushan Power Supply Qiming New Energy Technology, which has been put into use 36 sets recently and can effectively crack the problem of "magpie nesting" for electric vehicles. Compared with the previously invested parking space floor lock, the "intelligent gear lever" supports the identification of incoming and outgoing vehicle number plates through the special camera of the ev charging pile, judges fuel vehicles and non-fuel vehicles and controls the lifting of the gear lever, which better solves the problem of parking spaces being occupied by fuel vehicles and improves the operational efficiency of charging stations.
According to reports, the equipment has been put into use at the entrance of the Dinghai Campus of Zhejiang University, the north side of the Changchi Campus of Zhejiang University and the three fast charging stations on the west side of the Putuo District Government, and is the first batch of public electric vehicle charging pile "smart gear pole" equipment put into operation in the province. Four new fast-charging stations are planned for this year, including Dinghai Dongshan Park, New Town Central Park, Zhoushan Marine Culture and Arts Centre II and the Golden Triangle Petrol Station on Haitian Avenue in New Town, which will also be equipped with this equipment as appropriate.
Last year, State Grid Zhoushan Power Supply also built the country's first "5G+ Smart Street Light Charging Post" in Zhoushan, which integrates smart lighting, 5G communication, car charging, video monitoring and information interaction to achieve "sharing, pooling and co-ordination" of resources. The light pole is equipped with an exclusive charging space and a ground lock device, which can intelligently identify new energy vehicles for charging.
As of last year, China's new energy vehicle production and sales have ranked first in the world for six consecutive years, and continue to grow. New energy vehicle charging piles, as one of the seven areas of new infrastructure, its construction has the economic significance of boosting consumption, but also to achieve green travel, intelligent travel is a key move.
At present, Zhoushan City has built 156 full-caliber charging stations with a total of 1,326 charging piles, of which nearly 1,000 are for social use. In the next step, State Grid Zhoushan Power Supply will continue to improve the construction of the environment for the use of new energy vehicles, enhance the operation level of charging piles and promote the continuous upgrading and development of public charging piles.
