The commissioning of Sichuan Times Power Battery Phase I Project is a major fruit of cooperation between Yibin City and Ningde Times, and is another milestone for Ningde Times to build a world-class new energy vehicle power battery R&D and production base in Yibin, marking a new stage in the synergistic development of Yibin's new energy vehicle industry and lithium industry.

The Yibin base is an important part of Ningde Times' globalization layout, and will become Ningde Times' strategic and most important power battery production base in the southwest region upon completion. Since September 2019, Ningde Times and Yibin have signed one after another Sichuan Times Power Battery Phase I to VI projects, with a total investment of over RMB 30 billion and covering an area of about 3,000 mu. Yibin has a good transportation base. After the completion of the Yibin base, the logistics time will be within 3 hours, and the power batteries can appear on the production lines of Chengdu or Chongqing vehicle plants, which will greatly enhance the transportation efficiency of the company's products. At the same time, Yibin has abundant water resources, which can meet the company's carbon reduction requirements in manufacturing and achieve carbon neutrality throughout the life cycle of power batteries.
